The Red Folder Initiative
Students may experience different levels of distress across various areas of their lives. The type and amount of distress they are experiencing will require different actions and resources. The Red Folder initiative is a guide to help those who interact with students to recognize and be able to respond effectively and refer students in distress to the available resources we have at B´ÎÔª.
COVID-19 Information
Our number one priority is to protect and support the health, wellness, safety and welfare of our students, faculty, staff and Mercy community.
B´ÎÔª is no longer requiring the COVID-19 Vaccination and booster, however we continue to strongly urge all students to remain up to date with recommended COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.
Per the CDC and New York State Department of Health, B´ÎÔª is following the most recently updated COVID-19 guidance. Please follow the link below for further information.
Resources
The Student Counseling Center provides short term, individual therapy and evaluation services. For more information, click here.
We encourage our students to take an active role in creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We support these efforts by offering Wellness Programming on a wide range of health related topics throughout the school year.
Students can also go to Go Ask Alice!, an online tool that has answered thousands of questions on health and well-being topics ranging from substance use to sexual health to nutrition and physical activity. For access to Go Ask Alice, .

Urgent Care Centers: treat illness, take x-rays, do procedures like stitches, but they are less costly and usually involve less waiting time than an ER visit. No appointment needed.
Please be aware of your individual insurance coverage policies and how they would pertain to service "out of network plan" or "out of state."
