Dear Mercy Students,

We hope you are enjoying your summer and that you have been able to take some time to relax and rest.  We are eagerly preparing for in-person learning and on-campus activities for the fall term and need your participation to ensure this transition is a success.

I want to remind you that students who will be on campus or engage in any level of in-person instruction or activity for the fall 2021 term will be required to submit records of their COVID vaccination through the based on the schedule detailed below.  Mercy is only able to verify records through this portal and cannot accept vaccine records through email or other College-wide sites.  If you have previously submitted your vaccine information any other way, please resubmit it now by .

Deadlines for submitting records:

Residential Students and Student Athletes:
Submit proof of vaccination, or request an exemption by August 1, 2021 

Commuter Students (not living on-campus):
Submit proof of vaccination, or request an exemption by August 15, 2021

Fully Online Students:
Submit proof of vaccination, request an exemption or request a waiver by August 15, 2021 (as indicated below)

Acceptable Proof:
Mercy will accept the following vaccines with emergency use authorization by the FDA: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson / Janssen.

For those who may be receiving vaccinations outside of the U.S., B´ÎÔª will accept documentation of COVID-19 vaccines which the .

Required Proof:
Students will be required to provide the name of the vaccine and dates of doses as well as upload documentation including either a copy or photo of their vaccine card, the , or email proof from provider.

Exemptions, Accommodations & Waivers:
Students may seek a medical or religious exemption, and reasonable accommodations will be provided in accordance with College Policy. Fully online students taking 100% of their courses online and who do not plan to come to campus or participate in any on or off-campus College sponsored event for any purpose may be eligible for a waiver.  Please contact the Office of ACCESSibility (accessibility@mercy.edu / (914) 674-7764) to lean more regarding applying for an exemption, accommodation or waiver.
