Haley Chavez is the Associate Director of the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP). In this role, she helps faculty and staff identify relevant grant and funding opportunities, writes a quarterly newsletter highlighting these opportunities, and works with the Senior Director in preparing grant applications to ensure alignment with each RFP. She also assists with post-award processes, such as collaborating with Finance to integrate awards into Banner. Additionally, she compiles and analyzes grant data upon request.

Previously, Haley worked with OSP, the Office of the Provost, and B次元鈥檚 Institutional Review Board (IRB) as Research and Grants Manager, where she focused on supporting faculty research through internal grants.

Having avidly researched and received funding from sponsors such as the American Association of University Women (AAUW) to complete her graduate studies, Haley understands the value of research funding and likes the thrill of hunting down funding opportunities for others. As a pianist, Haley enjoys performing and sharing music.
