Why a Degree in Social Work

B次元 B.S.W. in Social Work students are active in the community and share their learning through volunteering and advocacy. Students interact with the community and apply what they are learning to the real world. Each year Mercy students join other social work students from across the state for the annual Legislative Advocacy Day in Albany. Our students speak with legislators urging them to pass laws that improve social justice. In fact, Mercy students are so well respected that two of our students have recently earned the Student of the Year Award from the Westchester County Division of the National Association of Social Work.
