Veronica Pasha

Veronica Pasha is a newly appointed Assistant Professor of Nursing at B´ÎÔª. She is a high-risk obstetrics labor and delivery nurse by clinical practice and former quality and patient safety specialist. She received her BSN from CUNY-Hunter College, an Executive Masters in Public Administration from NYU, and is currently pursuing her PhD from the Rory Meyers College of Nursing at NYU. Her area of research is focused on social determinants of health and pregnancy outcomes, specifically food insecurity and gestational diabetes mellitus. She is passionate about health equity, respectful care at birth, and women's health. Thus, she sits on the Advisory Board for the Health Equity Influencers Program (HEIP), an initiative to enhance and improve the quality of nursing education that has the potential to reach the maternal health space.

Professor Pasha currently teaches Fundamentals of Nursing, Evidence-Based Nursing Research, and Pharmacology. Previously she has taught Public/Community Health Nursing and Maternity.
